Our distillery stands in the Despot's Town, at the gateway to Šumadija, in Smederevo - on the 45th parallel, the very line that runs through Bordeaux and Tuscany. Old vineyards and orchards of native plum and apricot surround us; this land has been shaping fruit and vine since the Middle Ages.

Every barrel carries a hand-carved figure of St. George, the Vasiljević house's patron and a mark that follows each batch from the moment the brandy enters the wood. The barrels are made of sessile oak (Quercus petraea), which gives the brandy its amber colour and a gentle note of vanilla and dried fruit.
